Not your typical soft serve truck… it’s a “Sauce” Serve Truck!

Summer 2024 was all about sauce. As Wendy’s, Popeye’s, and Wingstop introduced their saucy bites, KFC took it a step further with the first-ever Sauce Serve Truck—dishing out freshly fried nuggets with five bold sauces, straight from taps.

The Experience
This wasn’t just any food truck. Inspired by the classic ice cream truck, it came with custom-designed saucy hats, tees, and merch. And, of course, we had our own catchy jingle, drawing in crowds with speakers shaped like buckets.

The Journey
With the re-release of KFC’s Saucy Nuggets and three new flavor options, KFC needed something big to rise above the competition. So, we gave a summer staple a unique KFC twist, creating an experience that traveled over 3,100 miles—serving up saucy nuggets from New York to Michigan.

The summer of 2024 was the Summer of Sauce at KFC.
And the drip? It never quit.
